Atumra is set in multiple plains of existence that link ancient and modern cultures in a deep and intricate story focused on a young girl named Akira who grew up in the slums of future Cairo. Akira must find and relink the ancient and forgotten domains of the living dead and discover the mysteries of the stories of gods and men which span across and transcend space and time.
Akira must save the fabric of reality from a catastrophic event that will merge all the plains of transient existence together and spell the end of the world as we know it. It is up to you to figure out what is going on and find a way to thwart the plans of an insidious cult who have delved into something deeper than they could have possibly imagined.
One might find that these plains of existence are far more interconnected than originally thought such that what occurs in one plain affects the other,

As Akira with her own unique abilities, you must find, befriend or make yourself indispensable to multiple characters that can provide her with the power of their souls and the gods, each allowing her to adopt new abilities and skills to overcome a series of increasingly fiendish challenges set in multiple locations in order to progress and discover the secrets of the mysterious cult and ancient world.
You must find a way through the posterns and secret passages left behind by the ancients to conceal their greatest treasures and truths. To get to your final location you will have to perform feats of dexterity and cunning will to navigate the treacherously dilapidated ruins of ancient Egypt, fight your way through and out smart your enemies and decode ancient scripts and find the secrets they hold in order to figure out what is going on.
On your journey you will have to find and collect various ancient and sometimes powerful and mysterious items that will in some cases light the way forward, change the world around you or unlock ancient mechanisms and reveals the secrets they hold. Underpinning this is an extensive collectable and skill system that awards the successful explorer with achievements and accolades that only the mighty few will have the ability to obtain.
Atumra is designed to be both challenging without holding your hand throughout your journey and highly variable, dynamically changing levels and the locations or various points of interest and collectables, this means that the puzzles and solutions will not necessarily be the same for everyone or for every play through.
