Control your Body and Head separately!
See a tight spot you don't fit through? A high place that seems unreachable? Don't worry YOU ARE A SKELETON. Just pop of your head and roll along. You can control both your body and head separately. But watch out - your body alone doesn't know where above and below is, and rolling as a Head without the protection of your body has its own risks.
Use your unique Movement!
Throw your head like a baseball, split into many bones to fit through grids. The possibilities as a Skeleton are unlimited. The level is your playground. We don't punish you for finding new creative ways to reach goals - no - we even encourage it.
Fight your way through various Enemies and Bosses!
Not everyone in the Realm of Darkness is happy about your arrival. From Spider-Pumpkins to Werewolves. This is not your typical Plattformer, Bonehearts gives you plenty of action along the way. There even are unique Bosses that will try everything they can, to prevent you from reaching your next goal.Â

Astonishing unique graphics, that are influenced from early 2000 Games and 1980 Cartoons. From a simple POW! when hitting your enemies, to a KABOOM! when your surroundings explode - even classic comic panel Cutscenes as well as your just can't miss speech bubbles you would expect in a comic. Bonehearts is a homage to all the creative styles the 1980 Cartoons invented.
Time is running from you!
I know, I know... you are a thousand year old skeleton and your enemy is really... Time? The bad news, stay to long in a level and your bones will fall into ash. The good news, Scarington's plans opened rifts across the planes that seem to stop Time for you. Plan your path towards your next goals carefully - or face a painful end when your time runs out… or does it?

Travel across 5 unique Worlds and a total of 25 individual Levels to save the realm. From icy caves to flaming hot volcanos - it really seems like Scarington went to the other end of the world for his plans - so you now have to follow him.

Whether this is your first platformer or you're already a hardened veteran. We assure you there will be plenty of challenges for all of you. NPC's will bet you on level challenges and extra stages will bring even the most experienced of you to a bitter end. Don't say I didn't warn you! Â
