Fear & Insanity Mechanics Darkness kills not just the body, but the mind. The higher your anxiety meter, the less you can trust your senses.
— *Fright Effect:* You stop hearing your friends at the most critical moment.
— *Hallucinations:* You see enemies where there are none, wasting precious ammo on empty space.
Tactics vs. Brute Force The mansion is cramped. The Werewolf is strong but huge—he gets stuck in doorways and breaks furniture. Use the environment! The Trapper sets snares to buy seconds while the others barricade the doors.
Living Lore Investigate the mystery of the von Adelstein family's disappearance. Read diaries, study distorted portraits, and find ritual items. Each note might tell you how to weaken the beast... or how to become one.
