The areas you're going to explore are extremely dangerous. Rarely do pilots escape alive. There have been reports of thousands of enemies attacking at once, even for a single ship intruding into their territory. The enemy must have millions of minions.
Get the Money Err, Gems
Ships are powered by Crystallized Uranium Magnite (for short: GEMs). Problem is, so are enemies. We're fighting for the same resources, and if we don't fight they will walk all over us and take over the entire universe.
Get Equipped With
An arsenal of weapons and utility upgrades are acquired through level ups within a session. Loot boxes can contain enhancements to equipped upgrades.
Escape With Your Loot, Or Die Trying
Central Command will send escape beacons from time to time. Your ship activates the extraction beacons by staying near for a varying amount of time. Once charged, use them to get the unrefined gemstones home... Oh and escape with your life.
Get Gooder
Using the extracted currency of unrefined gems, purchase upgrades that are applied to the ship to make the next run easier.
