A Life Across Six Eras
Childhood (1930s, Colonial Years)— Learn to read in a village school, help the family survive, sneak into the gambling den. Under colonial oppression and family ruin, the boy learns his first lesson: the rules of this world were never written for the weak.
Youth (1940s, Years in Exile)— Flight, farming, factory labor, and hard-won schooling. For a poor boy, education is the only way up — miss it, and life takes a very different path.
Academy Years (1950s, Military Academy)— War rages across the land. Poor grades mean being shipped to the front lines. Under mortal pressure, you found a secret society with your classmates — and meet allies who would stake their lives for you, and the love of your life.
Rising Star (1961–1979)— From the night raid on the seat of power to the jungles of an overseas war. Grow your secret society into the military's largest private faction, win the President's trust in the courts of power, and rise to Chief of the Security Command.
Power Struggle (1979–1980, Winter in the Capital)— One fateful night, the President is dead. Obey the chain of command, or stake everything on a coup? This time, you gamble it all.

⚖️ Checks Are Destiny
Key story moments demand hard stat checks — and failure is not gentle. Fail the entrance exam and you're ash on the front line. Lose a street fight and you die in a ditch. Botch the coup and oblivion awaits. Every check is a final exam on dozens of turns of your choices.
🤝 Bonds and Betrayals
Allies, your betrothed, brothers-in-arms, trusted confidants — build trust with dozens of characters inspired by real history. Court them or cast them aside, confide or betray. On the chessboard of power, your network is your sharpest weapon — and your softest weakness.
