Acheter LEGO Harry Potter Collection PS4 & PS5

The LEGO Harry Potter Collection is an action-adventure game that combines two classic titles into one package for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It follows Harry Potter and his friends through their years at Hogwarts, retelling the events of all eight films with the signature LEGO style of humor, building, and light combat.

Gameplay

Players progress through linear story levels that recreate key scenes from the Harry Potter films. The core loop revolves around exploration, puzzle-solving, and simple combat using spells. Characters switch on the fly to access unique abilities, such as levitating objects, opening hidden passages, or using pets to reach small areas. Lessons at Hogwarts teach new spells and potions that expand interaction options with the environment.

Combat involves basic attacks and dodging, with enemies often requiring specific spells or character switches to defeat. Exploration rewards players with collectibles scattered throughout levels and hub areas like Hogwarts itself. These include gold bricks, house crests, red bricks that unlock extras, and students in peril that need rescuing. The game supports local split-screen co-op for two players, allowing shared puzzle-solving and navigation without online features.

The remastered version on PlayStation 5 improves resolution and frame rate for sharper visuals during platforming and spell-casting sequences, though the underlying mechanics remain unchanged from the originals.

Game Modes

Story mode guides players through the narrative events of each school year in sequence, with fixed characters for the main path. Completing these unlocks Free Play mode, where any collected character can be used to revisit levels and access previously blocked areas or secrets.

Free Play encourages multiple playthroughs by requiring specific abilities for full completion. Hub exploration in Hogwarts connects the levels and serves as a central area for collecting items and preparing for story events. No competitive or online modes exist, keeping the focus on single-player progression and local cooperative play.

Collectibles and Progression

Progression ties directly to unlocking characters, spells, and extras through story completion and exploration. Over two hundred characters become available across both included games, each with distinct skills that influence puzzle solutions. Red bricks purchased with collected currency grant permanent bonuses like extra studs or character abilities.

House crests and gold bricks track completion per level, while students in peril add side objectives across the hubs. This system creates natural replay incentives without altering the main campaign structure.

Is It Worth Playing?

The collection delivers a substantial amount of content through its two full campaigns, making it suitable for players who enjoy methodical puzzle-solving and light-hearted retellings of familiar stories. Local co-op adds value for families or pairs looking for shared sessions on the couch.

Reception has been generally favorable among fans of the LEGO series and the Harry Potter license for its faithful adaptation and replay value. The PlayStation 5 version provides the clearest presentation available, though the remaster focuses mainly on technical upgrades rather than new content or mechanics. It suits those seeking an accessible, age-appropriate experience centered on exploration and character switching rather than intense action or competitive elements.
