Game Overview

This is an HD2D side-scrolling action game with roguelike elements, combining shooting and survival horror. Players will take on the role of Leila, a high-ranking agent of a mysterious organization, as she and her partner Flora investigate a bizarre exhibition hall.

Story Background

The Eastview Art Exhibition Hall was built two years ago, reportedly by an entrepreneur in memory of his deceased artist wife.

According to reports, this is a remote art gallery established by an entrepreneur to commemorate his wife. Half a month ago, a paranormal incident occurred here, resulting in the mysterious disappearance of multiple people. Those in the know claim that everyone inside the gallery vanished overnight.

After the incident, the local police immediately sealed off the exhibition hall and dispatched an investigation team. Two hours later, the team leader dragged the corpses of two members out through the back door, while the remaining survivors were too traumatized to recall their experiences inside the hall.

Gameplay

Action and Progression
Players will assume the role of Leila as she investigates the exhibition hall and battles the monsters within. The core gameplay revolves around action shooting. Players have limited mobility options and may find themselves blocked by monsters, requiring calm and strategic thinking to break through enemy encirclements and ambushes.

In addition to basic gunplay, players can upgrade melee and magic skills with Flora’s help, aiding in more effective enemy encounters. Alternatively, players can focus on enhancing Leila’s shooting abilities for a more firearm-centric playstyle.

Resource Management

The player's resources are not abundant. The game's dynamic resource system adjusts the amount of resources the player can obtain in real-time, ensuring they never have too many or too few. Players must think carefully about how to conserve ammunition or use it more efficiently. At the same time, they must manage their knife durability and stamina wisely to handle unexpected situations, rather than carelessly wasting their knife or melee attacks.

Random Elements and Exploration
The game features procedurally generated levels assembled from different modular blocks following specific rules. Rewards, enemy counts, random events, traps, and other interactive elements are randomized. Beyond horizontal combat, players can move vertically to explore different layers for rewards. Some simple puzzles may also appear, requiring brief contemplation to solve and claim rewards.
