Ascended are spiritual guardians devoted to emotion, tradition, and harmony. They see the Soul Tree as a sacred gift and cherish their bond with nature...especially Soulbeasts, whom they raise with love and reverence.
Their peaceful homeland is rich with elemental magic and quiet wisdom. The Ascended struggle to understand the Exiled’s rejection of the Soul Tree bond, viewing it as a loss of connection to the world’s soul.
Once proud sailing merchants, the Exiled survived the meteor by sheer luck...they were out on the sea when the world shattered. But luck couldn’t save their homeland. When they returned, everything was gone: their cities, families, history...erased.
With nothing but grit and scraps, they rebuilt from the ground up, forging a new city.
To them, the Soul Tree is a cruel joke...a blessing that never came for them. Many mock it openly, rejecting the faith of the Ascended.

Players choose from 7 base professions, each offering unique playstyles, gathering tools, and progression paths. Each profession is paired with a signature gathering method, allowing players to collect specialized materials that fuel crafting, trading, and more.
Professions impact not only gathering and crafting, but also combat stats,Â
from defense and healing power to offensive skills. Players may lean into supportive, defensive, or offensive roles, shaping personalized builds.
Soulworld swaps traditional leveling systems for a flexible rank-based progression. As you master your profession through combat, gathering or crafting, you rise through ranks, unlocking new abilities, perks, and prestige. As players rise through their ranks, they unlock access to powerful advanced professions. Whether you become a Blacksmith, an Alchemist, or a Rose Knight fighting with elegance and honor, each path offers unique playstyles and bonuses. From the stealthy precision of a Scout, the lore-rich support of a Skald, to the acrobatic finesse of an Acrobat, these professions shape not just battles, but stories. Whether healing allies or leading dungeon expeditions, your chosen role will define your legacy.
The more time you spend with yours, and the friendlier your bond becomes, the stronger and more capable it grows. Loyalty and affection play a big role in how it evolves, behaves, and even unlocks new traits.
 Soulbeasts can gain experience through:
Time spent together and consistent use in adventures.
Rare items found in boss battles, hidden loot, or magical crafting.
Training sessions at Soulbeast Grounds.
Depending on its form, your Soulbeast might help you fly, dive underwater, or explore dangerous regions. Soulbeasts are bonded beings magically connected to their keeper through the Soul Tree and will never appear as wild enemies in the open world.
However,
The Ashen Circle, has twisted the Soulbeast ritual to create their own Soulbeast variants. These high-rank evolutions serve as elite foes in certain regions. They're not born of love, but forged through domination.
Facing them won't just test your combat skills, it will challenge your bond, your strategy, and the choices that led your Soulbeast down its elemental path.
Players can share homes, land, and shops through a family group system. Whether it’s with kids, friends, or co-op partners. Members can customize their own room, help manage a shop through mini-games, or participate in farming and crafting, all without disrupting core gameplay systems. Parents and hosts have optional controls to keep economic features balanced, while casual players enjoy meaningful roles. It’s a cozy, community-friendly way to build together and grow your village one soul at a time.
Across Soulworld, there are multiple regions, each with its own temperature, ecosystem, flora, and weather. From sun-scorched valleys to misty highlands, these regions shape gameplay and aesthetics alike. Every region holds one or two dedicated village zones, small, living hubs where families settle, forge traditions, and collaborate on survival and story progression.
