The heartstone of Henki shapeshifters has shattered, scattering fragments across Taival. The art of shapeshifting is forgotten, until you stumble upon the last Henki. Together you journey the handcrafted blocky world with up to 4 players and cross paths with the locals in a quest to bring back the fragments from wherever – or whoever – they may be.
Taival is a co-op adventure that blends classic RPG elements with a unique shapeshifting companion and a charming blocky art style. Central to gameplay is the Henki companion, capable of shapeshifting into various combat and mount forms discovered throughout the world. Together with the tiny sidekick, the player traverses a handcrafted open world, engaging in combat, narrative quests, and character progression via skill trees and loot. Multiplayer is supported with up to 4 players online as well as locally with split-screen - simultaneously! Â
