The Vanished Soul is a first-person, psychological horror game developed entirely by one person. The game doesn't rely heavily on grotesque and gore elements but instead tries to slowly bring discomfort to the players through lighting, sounds, and effects. Combine that with the story elements, and you will have a realistic and atmospheric experience in this horror game. The Vanished Soul is powered by Unreal Engine 5, which brings some of the latest technologies, like real-time global illumination, helping you immerse yourself in the game as much as possible!

Your choices matter. Dialogue options, actions, and the paths you take can influence how the story unfolds, revealing different perspectives, outcomes, and consequences. As you explore, you’ll uncover fragments of the past scattered throughout the world, slowly piecing together what really happened. It's up to you to decide how much of the truth you’re ready to face.
Interact with many objects in the game, either to solve a puzzle, just for fun, or maybe to hit someone. It is up to you to discover all the ways to use the objects.
Solve the various puzzles you encounter throughout the game to progress further. You will either need to find evidence or clues in specific areas, or you might need to use logic to reach the final solution. The game will try to vary the puzzles, or, to be more precise, the way you solve them, and every puzzle will bring a different challenge!
The game features a Dynamic Scare System, which ensures that no two playthroughs are the same when it comes to terrifying moments. Jump scares are randomized, selected from multiple predefined spots throughout the game. This system keeps players on edge, avoiding predictable scares and guaranteeing a unique, spine chilling experience every time you play.
