Les Nords défendent leur planète Tyran contre des envahisseurs spatiaux mystérieux avides de la puissante substance magique TyranEther, scellée en ses profondeurs par les anciens dieux. Ce RPG d'action stratégique indé mêle gameplay stratégique et progression de personnages façon RPG. Les joueurs choisissent entre des contrôles RTS classiques ou des schémas action RPG, avec un support gamepad pour un gameplay fluide.
Des systèmes uniques gèrent le développement des personnages et le contrôle des unités, offrant une profondeur exigeante, simple à prendre en main mais loin d'être casual. Le multijoueur palpitant déploie des mécaniques spécifiques à chaque map, avec deux races jouables et des dizaines d'unités par race. Nords - the native habitants of Tyran didn't even suspect that everything would change soon. Mysterious invaders came to Tyran out of deep space in their search for the Ether. They wish to become gods themselves, and it's the Nords' destiny is to stop them...
