There is one pixel. Click it.
It explodes. You earn a pixel. It comes back.
That's how PIXEL.EXE begins: an empty dot-matrix screen, a single target, and a handwritten invitation to click. What follows is an incremental game about turning that tiny interaction into an arena full of chain reactions, drone swarms, falling bombs, and orbital lasers.
One click becomes a chain reaction
Destroy pixels to earn currency and XP, then spend your earnings on more targets, faster respawns, and stronger payouts. Unlock critical hits, build combos, and turn your clicks into explosions that catch nearby pixels. Each new mechanic arrives in the shop waiting for your investment. Choose what to activate and what to upgrade next.
Put destruction on autopilot
Deploy drones to hunt pixels, drop bombs into crowds, and send laser beams slicing across the arena. Expand your arsenal with cluster bombs and twin lasers, summon storms of falling pixels, or charge a nuke and clear the board in a single blast.
Keep clicking alongside your machines, or let automation do the work. Once you've built your automated arsenal, it also earns limited offline progress while you're away.
Catch a little colour
Blue pixels boost your XP. Fleeting golden pixels offer a bigger payday, but your drones can't catch them for you. Catch a rainbow pixel to trigger a brief burst of boosted rewards as the arena lights up with colour.
Something is moving beneath the grid
Eventually, pixels aren't the only things you have to destroy. Take on bosses before they burrow back underground, upgrade your damage, and work towards a final encounter.
After victory, keep playing or choose REBOOT: start again with your earned feats intact and a permanent pixel-value multiplier, facing higher upgrade prices and tougher bosses on your next run.
Small pixels. Big feedback.
Chunky particles, rippling shockwaves, screen shake, and synthesised chiptune audio make every pop count. Behind the destruction, a dot-matrix landscape gradually takes shape as you level up.
