Stone to Stars is a colony sim and ruler simulator set at the dawn of civilization. Settle an uncharted continent, build a thriving settlement, discover new technologies, trade or wage war with your neighbors—and hold on to power as you guide your dynasty through the ages.
LEAD
You do not rule over a faceless colony, but a living society. Your people will follow you only as long as they trust your judgment and believe you can safeguard their future.
Endure crises, meet the needs of your tribe, and maintain the support of your people. Lose their trust, and you may be overthrown—and defeated.
But even the most successful reign must eventually end. Guide your dynasty, prepare worthy successors, and pass power into their hands so that what you began may endure for generations.
EXPLORE
At the start of each game, choose the continent on which your civilization’s story will unfold. Every continent has its own landscapes, climate, resources, and neighboring settlements.
Send your people into the unknown, reveal the map, locate sources of food and raw materials, choose where to expand, and discover who else lays claim to these lands.
CRAFT
Gather resources, hunt wildlife, process what you bring home, and turn natural materials into tools, weapons, clothing, and supplies.
Resources are not abstract numbers: they must be gathered, processed, carried, stored, and delivered wherever they are needed. Every item becomes part of your settlement’s physical economy.
BUILD
Begin with a single campfire and temporary shelters, then transform your settlement into a thriving state with homes, workshops, storehouses, farmland, and infrastructure.
Assign workers, organize logistics, and establish production chains. Resources will not move on their own, and every decision has consequences.
RESEARCH
Accumulate knowledge and choose your path of development. A branching technology tree unlocks new materials, crafts, gathering methods, buildings, and ways to organize your society.
Lead your people from the first stone tools into new eras. Every discovery reshapes life in your settlement and opens new possibilities for your civilization.
TRADE OR FIGHT
You are not alone on your chosen continent. Other settlements are autonomous, AI-controlled societies. They grow, explore the land, gather resources, and pursue goals of their own.
Exchange goods, cooperate, and preserve the peace—or exert pressure, defend your territory, and go to war. Relationships are shaped by your actions, so today’s trading partner may become tomorrow’s enemy.
FACE THE FINAL TRIAL
The growth of your civilization is not the only goal. Hidden within every game is an inevitable final trial that will demand everything your people have achieved across the generations.
Your accumulated knowledge, stockpiles, production chains, relationships with neighboring societies, and the consequences of generations of decisions will all shape the final struggle for the future. Only a civilization that has prepared for what lies ahead will be able to save its people and carry their story beyond the world they have always known.
