The Gauntlet chains five consecutive fights with health carrying forward between rounds. Success in later stages often depends on decisions made earlier in the sequence. The Dungeon mode delivers full expeditions that include multiple enemy groups and a boss encounter whose specific rules appear in advance.
Twelve dungeons vary in theme and difficulty. The first features a straightforward crypt of skeletons. Later locations introduce unexpected elements such as a gardening robot or an airless mining station. Clearing each dungeon for the first time adds a crate to the camp yard. The twelfth dungeon, called the Pit, stands apart because it cannot be cleared in the same manner as the others.
Progression and Dungeons
Progress occurs through repeated dungeon runs that unlock new crates and camp features. The itinerary connects disparate locations without explicit narrative explanation, yet the rewards players extract demonstrate the value of each descent.
