ALONE: NO SIGNAL - à propos du jeu
Survival in a Silent World

ALONE: NO SIGNAL is a realistic single-player survival game set in a world where humanity has suddenly disappeared.

You wake up to find the roads empty, homes abandoned, and every communication channel silent. The world has not been destroyed by war or consumed by monsters. It has simply been left behind.

There are no instructions waiting for you.

There is no one coming to help.

There is no signal.

Game Concept
The Awakening

Your journey begins on an otherwise ordinary morning.

The buildings are still standing. Vehicles remain parked beside the road. Personal belongings have been left where their owners last placed them.

But everyone is gone.

There are no voices on the radio, no traffic on the roads, and no answers from the outside world. Phones display empty networks, broadcasts repeat nothing but static, and every attempt to contact another person leads back to silence.

With no explanation and no immediate way to call for help, your first objective is simple:

Survive the day.

The Empty World

The world of ALONE: NO SIGNAL is not a wasteland reduced to rubble. It is a familiar world slowly falling silent.

Homes still contain food and personal belongings. Gas stations sit abandoned beside empty highways. Shops, workshops, electrical facilities, server rooms, farms, and forgotten roadside structures may contain the supplies you need.

Every location tells part of the story through what was left behind.

An unfinished meal.

A vehicle abandoned with its door open.

A generator that was shut down in a hurry.

A message that was never delivered.

The environment does not directly explain what happened. You must search, observe, and form your own understanding of the world.

Survival
Physical Needs

Survival requires more than collecting supplies.

You must manage hunger, thirst, stamina, and the condition of the equipment you depend on. Travelling long distances without preparation can leave you exhausted, dehydrated, or stranded after darkness falls.

Every journey requires a decision:

How much can you carry?

How far can you travel?

Do you continue searching, or return while you still have enough supplies?

The world is not actively hunting you. It simply no longer cares whether you survive.

Light and Darkness

When the sun disappears, abandoned places become almost completely dark.

Flashlights are essential tools, but light is never unlimited. Batteries hold their own remaining charge and can be carried, inserted, removed, and replaced as needed.

A nearly depleted battery may still be worth keeping.

A fully charged one may be more valuable than another day of food when you are preparing to search an underground room or an isolated building at night.

Using light carelessly can leave you trapped in darkness far from shelter.

Equipment

The equipment you find becomes part of your survival strategy.

Tools, batteries, electronics, containers, medical supplies, clothing, and other useful objects can be collected and carried with you. Items must be chosen according to their weight, condition, purpose, and value to your current situation.

Some equipment helps you survive immediately.

Other equipment may allow you to access locations, restore systems, or understand what happened before the world went silent.

Exploration and Scavenging
Search What Remains

Useful supplies are found in places where they logically belong.

Food and water may be found in kitchens, shops, service stations, and storage rooms. Tools may be discovered inside garages and workshops. Batteries and electrical equipment may appear in utility rooms, offices, vehicles, or abandoned facilities.

Searching a location thoroughly may reward you, but every additional room costs time, stamina, and light.

The best supplies may not be sitting in plain sight.

You may need to search drawers, shelves, containers, vehicles, locked spaces, and forgotten corners of the environment.

Abandoned Roads

Roads connect the different parts of the world.

Following them may lead to settlements, gas stations, isolated homes, industrial sites, utility facilities, or places that no longer appear on ordinary maps.

Some routes are easier but consume more time and supplies. Others may provide shortcuts through difficult terrain or neglected infrastructure.

Travelling farther from a familiar shelter brings greater opportunities, but also increases the risk of becoming lost, exhausted, or caught outside after dark.

Preparation is what separates exploration from wandering.

Shelters
A Place to Return To

Shelters provide somewhere to rest, organize supplies, and prepare for the next journey.

A shelter may be a caravan beside an empty road, a remote cabin, an abandoned home, or another defensible location discovered while exploring.

Your shelter becomes a record of your survival.

Collected food fills the shelves. Spare batteries wait beside your equipment. Tools, containers, and valuable objects remain where you placed them.

The world outside may be empty, but the space you build inside it becomes yours.

Storage and Preparation

Not every item needs to be carried at all times.

Supplies can be stored for future journeys, allowing you to prepare different equipment depending on where you plan to travel.

A short search of a nearby building may require little more than water and a flashlight.

A longer expedition may demand food, medical supplies, spare batteries, tools, and enough room to carry whatever you find.

Careful preparation allows you to travel farther without losing everything to one poor decision.

Power and Communication
Forgotten Infrastructure

Electrical systems, generators, server rooms, communication equipment, and other pieces of infrastructure remain scattered throughout the world.

Some systems may still function.

Others may require power, replacement components, or investigation before they reveal their purpose.

Restoring electricity to a location can provide light, access, information, or temporary comfort. It can also activate systems that have remained silent since everyone disappeared.

Technology may contain traces of what happened, but most of it is damaged, disconnected, or waiting for a network that no longer exists.

No Signal

Most communication devices lead only to static.

Radios scan empty frequencies. Phones fail to connect. Computer systems search endlessly for servers that no longer respond.

Yet the silence may not always remain completely silent.

A strange transmission, an unexpected electrical event, or a signal from an impossible location could offer the first evidence that you are not as disconnected as you believed.

Whether that signal is an answer, a warning, or something left behind is for you to discover.

Dynamic World
Time of Day

The game uses a full day and night cycle with dynamically changing lighting conditions.

Daylight provides safer visibility for exploration, but it does not last forever. Searching too long or travelling too far can leave you outside after sunset.

You must decide how to use each day and when to return before darkness transforms familiar roads into unfamiliar places.

Resting allows time to pass, but every hour spent asleep is an hour in which the world continues without you.

Weather

Weather conditions change throughout the world.

Clear skies can provide excellent visibility and easier travel, while rain, fog, wind, and storms can reduce visibility and make navigation more difficult.

Weather affects the atmosphere of every location. A familiar road under clear daylight can feel completely different when hidden beneath fog or illuminated only by distant lightning.

Sometimes the safest choice is to remain inside.

Sometimes waiting means consuming supplies you cannot afford to lose.

Your Story

ALONE: NO SIGNAL does not force you into one specific way of surviving.

You may travel constantly, searching for answers across abandoned roads and distant settlements. You may focus on gathering supplies and transforming one shelter into a permanent home. You may investigate every signal and forgotten computer system, or ignore the mystery entirely and survive one quiet day at a time.

There are no factions assigning missions.

There are no traders waiting to buy your loot.

There is no society left to define who you should become.

You decide what is valuable, where to travel, what to leave behind, and how much risk one possible answer is worth.

The world provides the tools.

The silence provides the questions.

You create the story.
