Grandma's journal, her rod, and one devilish pug.
Your grandmother gave you her fishing journal: one page for every place she loved, and the last pages blank. Pack the rod she gave you, take your dog, and go fill them in.
Fishing that stays gentle
Nothing fails. A snapped line leaves the fish swimming where it was, and you cast again.
Around a dozen fish in every place, each with a note from Grandma, plus the one legendary she never landed.
Dawn, day, dusk and night, rain and shine. Different fish bite at different hours. Rest on the dock and let the time pass.
A trip, not a map screen
Start on Lake Geneva, earn a train ticket to Marseille, another to Oslo, then a cruise south to the Greek island of Hydra. Each stop is a small town with its own market, people, boats and fish. Take a rowboat, a sailboat or a Viking ship out to the glittering ripples where the better fish wait.
Between casts
Sell your catch at the stall and spend it on rods, bait, food and tickets.
Talk to the townsfolk. Make friends and help out, and be helped in return!
Buy furniture at the market and design your house.
Take photos.
