Every gateway holds a unique boss, unique loot tables, and incentive to battle hordes of lesser fiends. These fiends drop fragments, which, when forged together, recreate the boss’s powerful gear.
But the true prize lies in the boss itself — defeat it, and you may claim its scale, a shimmering jewel that contains the creature's defining mechanic.
