BACKGROUND
They have always existed. Before human time could be measured, Orcs thrived in the darkness. Led astray by the Dark Lords during the Genesis Wars, they survived the centuries by becoming independent and imperceptible. Unseen and undetectable, they grew in strength, forging alliances with demons and the undead. Cloaked by mystical wards, their hidden camps lay beyond the eyes and ears of men.
Aware of their growing ethereal power, the earliest kingdoms declared the Orcs and their rogue spirits outlaws and issued a perpetual bounty for their capture. Unknown to most, and operating in the most remote corners of the world, demonic bounty hunters continue to track and pursue these creatures. These uniquely skilled hunters are known as the Protectorate.
Ava Volkira is an elite Protectorate hunter. On a recent mission, she uncovered evidence of two new Orc tribes: the Primas and the Provecta. Both have thrived in secrecy, honing their strength and intellect.
