Lawless groups include the Free-Riding Collective led by an elected Hetman, the destruction-focused Wreckers, and the zealots of the Forbidden Order. Players enter as humans rescued from an escape pod crash, equipped with a Control Relay Interface by one of the races to operate their technology, with the link starting weak but improvable through research.
