You play as a detective named Gabriel, who by fate finds himself trapped in a strange, distorted city ruled by faceless corporations. This place is an anti-utopia that breathes steel, glass, and memories of a world that no longer exists. In a world where religion never held back progress and the Second World War ended in a Nazi victory, humanity pushed far beyond the limits of possibility — and paid the price.
The year is 1958, according to the New Calendar.
On the ruins of old empires, technological conglomerates have risen — megacorporations that rule the world without mercy or competition. America, GBC, Vereinigt Stelle — global blocs keep populations in poverty, conduct experiments across entire continents, and reduce human life to the level of a commodity.
But the greatest threat isn't corporate greed.
It’s "The Bloom" — a synthetic living plant, originally designed as a bio-implant, which mutated into a sentient parasite. It grows through human flesh and mind, turning people into living sustenance. The infection spreads. Governments remain silent. Corporations are hiding something.
Gabriel is a former detective who lost everything.
Once, he tried to investigate the first Bloom incident. Now, he scrubs floors in a diner. But a chance awakening in a Chinese shipping container filled with cybernetic humans drags him back into a web of events where humanity teeters between survival — and complete absorption by a new form of life.
ENTER A WORLD WHERE:
Bioengineering governs body and mind.
Megacorporations decide who lives — and who blooms.
The Red Gulf is either the last bastion of freedom… or the cradle of an even greater horror.
And your own mind… may no longer be yours.
